What Is Trauma-Informed Life Coaching?
Trauma-informed life coaching recognizes that difficult experiences can live in the body as well as in our thoughts, habits, relationships, and responses to stress.
My approach is somatic, meaning we pay attention to what your body is communicating in the present moment. You do not have to tell your story, explain what happened, or revisit painful experiences in order to do this work.
Instead, we can work with things like body awareness, grounding, nervous-system regulation, boundaries, patterns of response, and practical ways to help you feel more present and more able to make choices from where you are now.
The focus is not on reliving the past. It is on helping you notice what is happening in your body and your life today, and building tools that support greater steadiness, agency, and movement forward.
My Approach
My approach is collaborative, somatic, and trauma-informed.
We work with the present moment and pay attention to the signals your body gives you alongside your thoughts, choices, and circumstances.
You will never be required to disclose or describe traumatic experiences in order to participate in coaching. You decide what you want to share, what you want to work on, and what feels appropriate for you.
The goal is to help you build awareness, recognize patterns, strengthen boundaries, and develop practical ways to feel more grounded and able to move through your life with greater choice.

Accredited Training
I completed professional training as a Trauma-Informed Somatic Life Coach & Healing Practitioner through Inner Wellsprings Academy, an accredited training provider with the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH).
It does not make coaching therapy—and I believe that distinction matters.
That training provides a framework for working with awareness of how trauma can affect behavior, relationships, decision-making, boundaries, and a person’s sense of safety and agency.
That framework uses a somatic, body-centered approach teaching tools that support awareness, grounding, regulation, boundaries, and present-moment choice without requiring clients to recount or relive traumatic experiences.
My role is to offer informed, compassionate support while staying within the appropriate scope of coaching.
You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin.
We start with where you are.
